On Saturday 3rd June 48 students from years 10 and 11 set out to go on the long awaited study trip to England. After a lengthy coach journey England welcomed us with a fantastic view of the white cliffs of Dover and green rolling hills. After a visit of the impressive Dover castle we finally met our host families - What excitement! Sadly, the week passed all too quickly with visits to London, Cambridge, Windsor, Eton and Canterbury. Clearly, some students (and teachers;-) would have wanted to prolong the stay. All in one, we have all learnt more about the English culture and people as well as about ourselves.
„We can’t really appreciate home until we leave it.”
